View Full Version : I miss PS so much
Hello, everyone long time no see, Its been 3 months. I miss PS so much, I miss all the action, all the fun and I want try CoreCombat! Does The Old Veteran still play as much as before? Rahl, Rev, Warcore, ArmorDeth, Shamoox, etc! do you guys still play almost every night?
As often as I can....I still make it most nights.
Warcore and Shamoox don't play as much....but maybe they will later.
Elana just passed you in points...hehe. You better get back in the game so you can take the lead again....hehe.
I hope things are going well for you. I'll keep your char in the outfit as long as you want man. I just hope SOE doesn't kill it.
Yeah, we still play. And last night was a pretty good night for SoV. :)
We defeated the NC on Amerish... cleaned up Oshur... and started an invasion on Hossin that ended up at the NC warp gate, taunting the smurfs back into their sanc.

What's up Isux?? Where the hell have you been??
I still play every other night, but only for a couple of hours. The wife made me cut back a bit.
Last night was a ball! The SoV took it to the NC last night and they liked it.

I feel your pain Isux...

Oh oh oh. I know what to do!. Everybody in SoV send me and sumo just one dollar to us. That should give us enough to buy another Planetside, 2 acoounts, and 2 corecombats. Consider this a :D fundraiser.
Come on It just one dollar :P With that I can bring new hope to Sovereignty PLZZZZZZZZZ :D

The stamp to mail the damn dollar would cost 1/3 of the dollar inside the envelope...
ChaosSpartan:p
11-20-2003, 02:57 AM
Fine 50 cents from everyone and that will definetly be enough
Now you can give us less because including the stamp its not a dollar anymore. And cmon what are you gonna do with a dollar. "Make a long distance using 10-10-220" :D
Haha, maybe santa will bring you a copy and a few gamecards?

I thought you could reactivate an account anytime and still have youre old stuff. Maybe I'm wrong, you should check.

Ya you can reactivate an account anytime, but the problem is I have parents that are so picky about grades, that they ask why I got a 98% rather than a 100% on a physics test so getting my money's worth for playing PS would be impossible. Also they hate pay-to-play games, not sure why, I paid for it and wouldn't I have to get CC to play PS now?
Drizzt421

no, CC isn't required, plus it sucks so dont get it, unless you really want to, i wish i had my 30$ back.
You wouldn't have to get CC...in fact, unless you really want to use one of the new weapons, I wouldn't bother.
Hehe, if you want an argument for why your parents should allow you to play games...
Time management is a skill best learned early. As you get older, there are more things that take time away from school. Learning how to balance the time you spend on schoolwork and the time you spend relaxing is one of the skills people often master too late. College is no place to learn that balance. Too many freshmen show up with no ability to figure out when its play time and when its work time and wind up making some pretty big mistakes.
I saw a few friends spend too much time in the dorm playing games or off doing something else. It sucked when they weren't back the next semester.
hehe, now, I had a lot of fun in college...totally fucked up a few classes, but I figured out quickly that showing up for a test after a solid night of playing Doom and Doom2 and drinking wasn't the best idea. I think it only cost me about $1500 worth of wasted tution money repeating classes before I got the right idea.
Crap. I sound old again. And I'm not.

Hehe it's ok Rahl. Being old isn't so bad is it? But as to the time management, my brother ChaosSpartan has already proved to be not so good at that to my parents so their answer is still no. Are any of the CC vehicles or weapons even that good? But next month, December, I think I might be back along w/ Chaosspartan just for a month because of Winter break.

Btw, Drizzt nice sig. Anyway I could get one? :P
Oh, I don't really like the CC weapons. The flail, which is mobile artillery, is sorta cool. The new guns aren't that great and can't even be obtained easily....well the real problem is ammo. You can't reload them up top...just at crystals in the caverns.
The caves are sorta pretty...and the one fight I was in down there was sorta neat. But, I sorta feel like I was robbed of $30.
I hope you guys can make it back in for christmas break. You guys were always fun to play with.
And on the time management thing...its better for Chaos to learn early that he doesn't have the gift for great time management....he'll get better at it with some effort.
And I'm not old...just 26. Thats very young.

Not true wise and scandalous leader. Not sure the exact rules, but if you re in the abse/SOI/in the major reas of a base, the weapons recharge. I sat at the front door of a base with a equipment mod. for 45 mins with the Maelstrom, never got lower then 1/2 ammo. Those are the perfect weapons to guard doors with.

I miss PS so much, I miss all the action, all the fun
me too.
I have two things that prevent me from playing PS:
1) 12hr timezone difference ( but I can wake up 9 in the morning to joing the action
2) internet speed too slow. I get some crap internet connection that only allow me to d/l max at 20k/sec during early morning
is CC that worthless? how often is the battle taken down the cravens? Is there a free 7-day-Trial thingy for CC?
snipegrzywa
11-26-2003, 03:11 PM
Not anymore. Every now and then there is some action down there but usually its a 10 vs 10 man battle. And they did have a
7-day Core Combat for those ppl who had accounts still active, but hadn't purchased the expansion yet.

The way I like to think of it:
Price of a new game: $40-$50
According to how often I play it and how long it takes to beat depending on game length: Anywhere from 1 week (most action games) - 2 months (RPG's are fun but long and can be HARD)
to get a new game after I beat the old one: $40-$50
To play PS (can't really end it) : $10 / month
add it up. PS is cheaper for more hard-core gamers like me than getting a new single-player game and beating it.
