Man these fuckers are really pissing me off. Seriously I dont think it over powered the Lasher it is just that we had to spend our days developing tactics and stuff and when our weapon was equalized it did alot for us. REally all it did was equalize the battles on the gun part but we had the tactics.

Last night when I logged in, VS was the group getting a bonush to HP because we were short people. So, apparently we aren't so amazingly cool that everybody wants to be us now.

Anyhow, I get owned by the chain gun and the jackhammer on many occasions, and people have started to get better at dealing with the lasher at range. I've seen a lot more people staying far away, outrunning the disco balls of doom, and hitting me with their cyclers, etc.

So, as with the Liberator, I think it caused a temporary imbalance that seemed really unfair, but us wiley humans are good at adapting. So people adapted, balance is reachieved. Life goes on.

As a lasher user I fear the MCG over the JH... I am not sure why.. but I get killed my MCG fairly easily while I am weilding my Lasher.

My guess is it is not the weapon but the player behind it.

The NC is used to being able to charge everyone head on, holding down the fire button of the JH, and win every time. Now, that doesn't work anymore. They still try though, I see it all the time when I use my lasher.

TR doesn't do that much. They'll surge and straife while unloading on you, and it's pretty tricky (at least for me) to lead the shots for the lasher outside with a fast moving opponent.

In one of the lasher whine posts asking "what do I do now" I suggested just that Venekar. I told them that if I could take down a heavy with a MCG using a bolt rifle and a pistol at close range simply by keeping him confused that maybe they should try some strategy when facing someone carrying a more powerful gun.

I was immeadiately flamed and called a moron. Gotta love public forums.

When I was playing my terran just after the patch, I had no problem killing lasher users outside. Surge, get in close, and straife, and they were screwed most of the time.

For the NC, using the ol Azzhammer, it should work even better, provided of course they, you know, dodge :P
