Patch Issues - July 9, 2003 (Glad I run XP)

We are aware of issues with the current patch affecting players using Windows 98 and Windows ME. Our Programming team is working on resolving the issue and we should have a fix out shortly.

Hehe, people with Win98 and ME aren't the only ones having problems. The patch which was supposed to fix framerate problems oddly enough has seemed to drastically lower my fps. :shock: Stupid SOE.... :roll:

i agree with smurf except one stoner told me he likes it better cause there is less clicking so he can look at pron faster. i use XP pro and i can run shit fine but my fps drastically went down in a fight from like 33 to like 13 so you could imagine my frustration.

same here! I didnt see any improvement on my FPS.. however it was worse.. and CTD a few times more today

I run Win2k, peronally I think W2k is the most stable OS window has made aside from the Server series.

WinXp is convient if nothing goes wrong... once XP goes wild its almost impossible to save it! its so EVIL I tried it out twice and went back to win2k by formating my HD after it fucked up everything in my HD in 1 week.

lol XP doesn't even let me reformat my HD. Says something is running that is using the hard drive. I've also tried using the command prompt and it won't let me reformat and I don't know how to go back to just plain DOS. :cry:

That is correct, Windows won't let you format over it. Two words: Boot disk. ;)
