So i manage our internal unix site which is currently running Postnuke. I'm getting bored with it. <--- As with everything in life.

So what kind of CMS systems have you used?

I'm looking at Mambo right now. The site is just for internal engineering workbooks and FAQ's (Yes typing exit will exit your session). I created some forums using PNphpBB2 and some hidden content. Looking to cut down on my admin time and really look to surf the web more. <--- Heh, government worker

Thanks!

i'm in th same boat as armor... kinda.

i need a phpbb portal solution that i wont have to spend time on, and i was looking at PN, but... meh.

i sketched a header already, because i got bored the other day.

thats the temporary logo, teh bird has to go obviously. talk of putting this into flash might mean PN is out of the question.

Being the sick demented mad scientist that I am I had this great idea for trucking stuff through IRAQ. A remote controlled system using the same satillite tech that thye use for drone air craft . You sit 200 some odd miles away save and sound. and steering and speed controls are already in use and feed back from the steering can be done. AND THE BEST PART if some freakin JI-Had screamin freak decides you have to meet Alah you rig with 20 lbs of SYMTEC yea the truck and 20 miles of prime Iraqi realestate go bye bye. and wait till they find out that they havent taken any Infidel Lives that would really drive them in to a FOAMING Sucidel freazy

Zrowkewl, you are a trip man.

Played with Mambo today, not too impressed. I might have to stick with PostNuke and cut down on some of the "Features".

Oh well?

Never thought much of mambo looks like they have a good idea but just havent refined it yet. I would say stick with POSTNUKE and see who works up the better system over time. Hell its open source its not like you have to buy then return it. you can play with it and wait it out. kind of like having a really slutty girlfriend that your not really concerned aout. Ya play with it till something real comes along
